Social media internship at SETAREH Berlin (Pflichtpraktika)

SETAREH specializes in exhibitions of contemporary art. We work to present a dynamic exhibition program and represent artists to actively further their projects by participating in the larger contemporary art dialogue with partners around the world.

For our gallery in Berlin, we are looking for one mandatory intern with immediate effect. This is a part-time position. 

This position is freelance and is not remunerated. We continue to expand our team and are also accepting applications for future periods.

Duration: 3 months

Core tasks:

• Prepare and manage posts for our social media channels, monitoring and answering comments
• Independent writing of texts (English and German), photography and filming of exhibitions, events and news for the gallery for its social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube etc)
• Participation in coordination of the production of all content
• Simple photography and video capture of exhibitions, events and happenings for the social media channels
• Image Retouching
• Support for web design and social media design

Requirement profile:

• Enrolled or completed studies in communication design or a comparable course of study
• Organizational talent and communication skills
• Structured and responsible way of working, quick comprehension, resilience and adaptability
• Interest in contemporary as well as modern art
• Very good knowledge of online communication
• Very good knowledge of English and German (spoken and written).
